Noreen's Irish-Themed Table Runners
In commemoration of Noreen's Irish ancestry, these two table runners bring the spirit of the Irish to the table front. The color green is rich with symbolism and represents the heart chakra, which encapsulates one of Noreen's gifts of touching the hearts and souls of those to whom she ministers in living her vocation as a Dominican Sister of Peace.
Kathy's Strawberry Delight Table Runner
Strawberries are Kathy's favorite fruit and so this quilt was designed to savor her delectable taste. Perhaps her taste buds were influenced by growing up during the Beatles' era, having sung John Lennon's rendition of "Strawberry Fields Forever." Or, perhaps her childhood days of strawberry picking at the Picha's Farm in Eden Prairie, Minnesota entrenched her enjoyment of this fruit forever!
Kathy's Purple Table Runner
A table runner of morning glories enshrined in Kathy's favorite color -- purple! As the eldest sister of four girls, she will find these two websites -- Grandma Purple and The Purple Store -- dream sites for a purple lover!

Karen's Special Comforter
We all need a little comfort from our friends and I wish my friend, Karen, much heartfelt warmth and love as her struggle with ovarian cancer calls her to new vistas of healing and transformation. You are a special woman, Karen!
What made us friends
In the long ago . . .
When we first met?
When we first met?
Well, I think I know!
The best in me, And the best in you . . .
Hailed each other, Because they knew
That always, and always . . .
Since life began
Our "being friends" was part of God's plan."
~Susan Polis Schutz
Peace and love to you, my friend!
Amanda's Star & Native Design Quilt
My friend, Amanda, with her star-studded quilt with native design fabric on reverse side. Amanda selected this fabric during a side trip in the summer of 2009 to Honey Fork Fabrics. The images from this quilt inspire me to modify the lyrics from Josh Groban's rendition of "Starry Night" to what you're seeing in these pictures:
Starry, starry night
Sew your palette burgundy and tan
Look out on a summer's day
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the light in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and daffodils
Catch the breeze and the summer thrills
In colours on the starry linen quilt.

All-Star Quilt
One of my beginner's quilts, this all-star quilt was so much fun to make, and the results are heavenly! A Cottage Creek Quilts design, this Stars and Shadows pattern [CCQ151] was designed by Pam Puyleart. Mary Harwood, from Always in Stitches, was my instructor for this quilt.
Sampler Quilt
In this sampler quilt, taught in a class by Patty Estadt at Always in Stitches, you'll see classic quilt blocks--flying geese, friendship star, rail fence, nine patch, nine-patch variation, square dance, and log cabin blocks. Quilt design is taken from the book, Start Quilting with Alex Anderson (3rd edition).

Mom's Tea & Me Quilt
Honoring Mom with this tea cup reversible table runner to commemorate a gift she once gave me of a tea cup in plastic needlepoint canvas. Inside was a tea bag poem that reads: " I wish we could sit down together and drink a cup of tea. But since we can't, when you drink this one, I hope you'll think of me!" And, I certainly do think of you often, Mom, and I enjoy our weekly Sunday evening chats!
